As an Investment Analyst at J&T Ventures, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the world of venture capital, with a focus on technology companies and startups. Your main focus will be sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities, but there will be plenty of space to learn, experiment and develop into other areas along the way.

Your role will involve:

1. Sourcing Investment Opportunities: Discover exciting potential investments in the tech and startup landscape, using your keen eye for promising ventures and groundbreaking ideas across emerging industries.
2. Conducting Analyses: Dive deep into each potential investment, examining aspects such as the product, market, and competition to gain a comprehensive understanding of the opportunity at hand.
3. Operations: Internal initiatives like portfolio support (hiring, fundraising etc.) as well as assistance with events and managing and tracking the fund’s relationships in a CRM
4. External Communication: Engage with external partners and representatives of major corporations to validate project quality and obtain product or founder references. Maintain fruitful relationships with investors, portfolio companies, and partners through effective communication.

In addition, you'll also get the opportunity to represent J&T Ventures at various marketing activities. You'll actively participate in conferences, events, panel discussions, and professional events aimed at startups, investors, and experts. Through these activities, you’ll be able to build your network and foster valuable relationships.

About you:

• You have working/internship experience in relevant fields such as investment funds, consulting firms, startups, or technology focused companies (technical experience or a technology focused degree is a bonus).
• You are fluent in both Czech and English (other languages are a bonus)
• You are located in or willing to relocate to Prague to sit with us in our office
• You are skilled with software like Microsoft Word, Excel, G Suite, Notion, and CRM systems
• You are an empathetic person with excellent communication skills
• You are flexible, capable of multitasking and of working under a deadline if needed
